1. Welcome
Remarks
The Chairman, Dr. KWON, Hyuck-Myun of KOSHA, opened the meeting and welcomed
committee members and observers.
2. Introduction
2.1 Members introduced themselves.
2.2 Members were invited to go through the agenda and no new items were put
forward.
3. Confirmation
of TC Minutes from APOSHO 21, Bali, Indonesia
All members confirmed the meeting minutes of Technical Committee held in APOSHO
21 in Bali, Indonesia.
4. Matters
arising from the last meeting in Bali, Indonesia
4.1 Sharing of Information through APOSHO Website
The APOSHO website content document was distributed. The Chairman described
each page of APOSHO website. The Chairman also recommended the members to upload
new information so that the homepage will always be updated.
The Chairman explained that ASEAN OSHNET website can be reached via APOSHO homepage
from a link on the Homepage. The icon of the website should be amended according
to ASEAN OSHNET’s own selection.
4.2 APOSHO
Homepage Re-building Progress
4.2.1 Progress on obtaining feedback from APOSHO members
The meeting complemented KOSHA for making such an excellent website. The committee
discussed that certain details should be modified; for example, one contact
point (e-mail address) for each organization is to be added in the page of Membership
Information for better communication. It was, however, agreed that comments
should be sent directly to KOSHA.
4.2.2
Setting up of e-newsletter
The Chairman encouraged the members to send the e-newsletter to be uploaded
in the Homepage.
4.2.3 Development of Individual Member’s Technical Expert Database
KOSHA requested that the other APOSHO members provide details of their own technical
experts and their areas of expertise for inclusion in the the Technical Expert
Database.
4.4 Strengthening
OSH Official Exchange Update on progress:
4.4.1 Personal Exchange Program
It was reported that OSH training courses for foreign OSH experts were provided
by KOSHA and Japan International Center for OSH (JICOSH) in 2005. It is recommended
to expand the relevant courses as much as possible by APOSHO members.
4.4.2 OSH training
It was suggested by China Occupational Safety &Health Association that there
needs an additional page for sharing information of training courses in organizations
in APOSHO Homepage.
5. New
Matter arising for Discussion and Consideration
5.1 Strengthen OSH Information Exchange
It was agreed that the information presented in APOSHO conference each year
should be uploaded in APOSHO website in PDF file. It was also agreed that members
will actively enrich the OSH database on the Homepage by contributing information.
6. Announcement
The Chairman announced that the 18th World Congress on Safety and Health at
Work will be held in Korea in the year of 2008.
8. Closing
The Chairman thanked members for their support and contributions. The meeting
was adjourned at 15.40 PM.
